Deceiving domain - tikotin.com

Tikotin.com has previously been known as a misleading search engine which hijacks browser settings to display sponsored search results. These results were typically presented in a different font or by using other features, so victims were tricked into clicking them voluntarily. By doing so, Tikotin redirected victims to sponsored sites and generated pay-per-click revenue.

At the moment, Tikotin.com is redirecting victims to the scam page apple-en.amazingsmartphoneitems.icu which is offering free gifts in exchange for short answers. Typically, they congratulate the user for using Apple products for so long and promise the free gift for easy questions, such as "What is your favorite web browser". However, at the end of the questionnaire, the user is asked to pay 1 euro and never receives the "prize".
