Deceiving domain - apple.com-shield-guard.live
Apple.com-shield-guard.live is a questionable site that displays misleading information on the web browser to encourage people that they need to download a particular promoted software or even call a fake support number. These alerts either detail about malware infections or warn about possible damage to your machine. The aim of such shady pop-ups is to load shady tools on the machine and spread the rogue system optimizers this way.
This scary message appears on macOS supporting devices, and Apple.com-shield-guard.live site redirects to other shady pages with deceptive information. False information appears out of nowhere, and error messages even show real names of malware, trojans, or worms, to trick users into pushing buttons like Scan Now or Remove Viruses Now. Once those get clicked, the fake scan is initiated, which ends by delivering altered results, and finally, a useless system application gets installed.
This is a scam that aims to get people's money by installing the free version of Cleanup My Mac or any other system tool. However, later, the application states that only a full/licensed version can remove all the issues indicated by the program or even clean the malware. The paid software also gives no value.
