Surveyed IT decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses revealed that almost 100% of them educate employees on cybersecurity
IT decision-makers rate themselves and state that businesses in the US, UK, and Australia take precautionary measures and train their employees about best practices for cybersecurity. However, only 39% train their employees all the time throughout the duration of employment not only when the security issue takes place. But responses look different based on the country. While ransomware was ranked third in total in the US, it has only 42% and DDoS attacks 52%. New forms of malware left at the sixth place behind the mobile malware. Other difference in geographical responses is with the preparedness. 69% of decision-makers in the UK state that they are ready to manage security breaches and protect their networks against threats. Meanwhile, results in the US and Australia show that 54% of recipients felt this way.
